Personal sports story

Sport became my way of
rebuilding myself.

I do not want this page to feel like a CV. I want someone who searches my name to see the connection I built with running, triathlon, diving and table tennis over the years — not only the results, but the person behind them.

About me

A personal sports archive: running, triathlon, diving and table tennis as part of one continuous story.

Before the times and medals, there is continuity.

For me, sport is not only the medal on race day. It is a way to reset, rebuild discipline and start again when life gets heavy.

I was born in Eskişehir in 1978. In 2006, when I joined the 1st ÖGER Half Marathon, I did not really know what 21 kilometers would open up in my life. I finished that first half marathon in 2:12:59. After that, I began waiting for the next race, the next target and the next version of myself.

Over time, running became marathons, triathlons, open-water swimming and diving. In Germany I joined races, trained with teams, and later rediscovered competition through table tennis. This page is not meant to show a perfect athlete profile. It shows a real path: effort, setbacks, discipline and the decision to keep moving.

Running

Running has always been the simplest and most honest measure for me: you put your shoes on, go outside, and meet yourself.

Triathlon

Triathlon taught me that one strong side is not enough. Swim, bike and run do not just add up physically; they test character together.

Gloria IRONMAN 70.3 Turkey

The race consisted of 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21 km running. For me, it was not only a sports event. It was about team responsibility, adapting when things changed and finishing a difficult day together.

That is why the Ironman photos are part of the story, not only part of a results list.

Diving

Diving is a different discipline from racing: instead of speeding up, you slow down, control yourself and create safety underwater.

CMAS 1★ Diving Instructor

Diving deserves its own place on this page. Running and triathlon are more visible from the outside; diving is quieter, but it has a strong character for me.

Underwater, rushing does not help. Breathing, calmness, attention and responsibility matter. The instructor side begins there: not just diving, but creating confidence for someone else.

Table Tennis

Table tennis is about reflexes, timing and patience. The endurance of running turns here into fast decisions and tactical control.

In recent years, table tennis opened a different door to sport for me. Shorter exchanges, faster decisions, more technique and more tactical thinking.

This page is not just for search results. It is meant to give a real impression.

I do not want someone to see only a CV or a race list. I want them to see the relationship I built with sport over the years.
